“I never worry about getting lost in the woods. If you keep walking, you will eventually emerge. But, as a precaution, I do carry a map, which led in a roundabout way to this particular picture. People often look at my photographs and ask, “Where is that?”, so I decided to overlay an image with its location on a map, using a series of multiple exposures. Despite my own personal enjoyment of being lost, I have discovered a surprising pleasure in identifying where you are in the woods.” – Hilary Stock
