April Magic In The Rain

“A lot of boats in Cornwall are taken out of the water for the winter months, wrapped up against the elements. My favourite time of year is when spring creeps up, pushing the dark months aside. We all cast off our protective layers to welcome in brighter days. April Magic was being painted in Tom’s Boatyard in Polruan, ready for the new season, and rivulets of rain were making beautiful patterns on the curve of her bow – a sight that filled me with the optimism of our changing seasons.” – Hilary Stock
